Location: Fox River Church, Sheridan, Illinois
Salary: We are offering $55,000 plus insurance for a full-time position

Job Summary
Fox River Church is seeking a full-time, permanent Youth Director to lead and disciple the next
generation through biblically sound, engaging, and Christ-centered programs. The Youth
Director is responsible for providing vision, leadership, and coordination for multiple youth
ministries across all age levels. This position involves close collaboration with church staff,
volunteers, and families to build a safe, supportive, and spiritually enriching environment for
children and adolescents.
The ideal candidate is a mature follower of Jesus, committed to the authority of Scripture, and
passionate about discipling youth and reaching the next generation for Christ.

Qualifications
Spiritual & Character Requirements
● A growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
● Agreement with the Constitution and Statement of Faith of Fox River Church.
● A lifestyle reflecting biblical integrity (Psalm 78:72) and spiritual maturity (1 Timothy
3:1–7; Galatians 5:22–26).
● A shepherd’s heart and a teacher’s calling (John 10:7–15; Ephesians 4:11–16).

Professional & Practical Requirements
● Preferred experience in youth ministry.
● Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
● Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
● Comfortable with basic technology, social media, and office software tools.

Primary Responsibilities
● Develop, coordinate, and implement comprehensive, Scripture-based programs for
youth.
● Disciple youth and young adults, guiding them toward a growing relationship with
Jesus Christ.
● Plan and coordinate special events and outreach activities to connect with
unchurched youth in the local community.
● Recruit, train, and support volunteers to serve across all youth ministries.
● Attend staff meetings and report monthly to the Church Council on ministry progress
and goals.
