Recruiting for the position of Pastor
The Alsea Christian Fellowship is located near the small town of Alsea, Oregon about
40 miles West of Corvallis, the home of Oregon State University. The compensation
package includes a Parsonage.
Position Summary
The single pastor is responsible for leading all ministries of the rural congregation. This
role will require a passionate leader with wisdom to assess existing ministries and
motivate ministry leaders to achieve success in reaching and disciplining others.

A high energy individual committed to serving Christ and reaching others in need of a
relationship with Our Savior.
Strong leadership ability, excellent communications ability, effective intrapersonal skills
and organizational skills.
Committed to Outreach and Evangelism.
The ability to connect with people of the community.
Certified or willing to be certified by the Assemblies of God.
A willingness to come under the leadership of the Elder Board.
Other desirable skills and qualities
Knowledge and ability to use social media platforms.
Experience with leading worship
Teachable, dependable and a desire to continue to develop ministry skills.
